APPLYING A NEW SEWER CONNECTION
|
- Customer must hire a licensed Sanitary Constructor (licensed plumber) to act on his/her behalf.
- The Constructor must complete and submit an application form, which is available at the Plumbing Inspectorate at Head Office.
- The form must be accompanied by four (4) copies of a plumbing system design (drawings)
- The system is categorized and priced as follows and include VAT:

- If the drawings are within the specified requirements by the Authority, then the authorisation is given to the Constructor to install the system.
- A Completion Certificate is issued to the Constructor after inspection and testing of the plumbing system.

Completion Certificates
|
A completion certificate is a document which states that infrastructure (pipe work) has been inspected and tested by WASA and has been found to be up to WASA’s standards. This inspection is done for building developments as well as private homes. These inspections are carried out and the completion certificates are issued before any interconnection is done to WASA’s system. Please note that in the case of private homes inspections are done before connecting to WASA’s sewerage system only.

- Call your Licensed Sanitary Constructor or contact the Wastewater Department at Head Office, St. Joseph. 662 – 2302/7 Ext. 4021 for an investigation
- A cost will be determined after a thorough investigation of the nature of work to be carried out.
