The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad, served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday 7th September 2017 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

This has become necessary due to a planned power interruption by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will affect the operation of the water treatment plant and associated booster stations in the Tabaquite area.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Malgretoute
  • Williamsville
  • Buen Intento
  • Manahambre
  • Rio Claro
  • Tabaquite
  • Diamond Village
  • Vistabella
  • Cocoyea
  • Guaracara
  • New Grant
  • Barrackpore
  • Borde Narve
  • St. Mary’s
  • Piparo
  • Marabella
  • Gasparillo
  • Golconda
  • Ste. Madeline
  • Penal Rock Road

Customers are asked to manage their water use efficiently, as it may take 8 to 12 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas, after the Plant returns to full operation.
