SERVICE DISRUPTION
TO PARTS OF NORTHEAST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North-East Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their normal scheduled water supply that, this is due to mechanical problems impacting the Raw Water Pump Station at the facility.

Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday 24th December, 2019.

  • Manzanilla
  • Guaico/ Guaico Tamana
  • Tumpuna Road
  • Brazil
  • Carapo/ O’Meara Road
  • Maloney
  • Oropune Gardens
  • Sunrise Park
  • Vega De Oropouche
  • Sangre Chiquito
  • Coalmine
  • Malabar Phase 1,3 & 4
  • San Rafael
  • La Horquetta
  • Signature Park/ Mausica Road
  • Five Rivers
  • Millennium Park
  • Golden Grove Road

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas. A limited truck-borne water service is available with priority given to special homes and health care institutions.
