The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North-East Trinidad currently impacted by mechanical problems at the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, that there has been an unavoidable delay in the completion of repair works at the facility.

The Authority’s mechanical maintenance team has been working around the clock on this issue and repairs are expected to be completed by 6:00 p.m. today - Tuesday 24th December, 2019.

  • Brazil
  • Carapo/ O’Meara Road
  • Maloney
  • Oropune Gardens
  • Sunrise Park
  • Vega De Oropouche
  • Sangre Chiquito
  • Coalmine
  • Malabar Phase 1,3 & 4
  • San Rafael
  • La Horquetta
  • Signature Park/ Mausica Road
  • Five Rivers
  • Millennium Park
  • Golden Grove Road

Customers are reminded that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas. A limited truck-borne water service is available with priority given to special homes and health care institutions.
