SERVICE INTERRUPTION
TO PARTS OF NORTHWEST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (“the Authority”) advises customers served by the El Socorro Booster Station, who are presently experiencing an interruption in their water supply that this is due to mechanical problems, which developed today - Saturday 1st February, 2020. Emergency repair is currently underway and is expected to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Monday 3rd February, 2020. The Authority will utilize water from its El Socorro Wellfield to augment supply to affected areas.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
