The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) wishes to advise customers in the Icacos area, who have been experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that, the Authority continues to work on issues impacting the service. Some of these issues include mechanical problems at the Granville Water Treatment Plant, as well as a broken distribution pipeline along Granville Road.

The Authority has been able to correct the above-mentioned issues and the pipeborne water supply areas is being restored incrementally to communities in Granville, Fullerton, Coromandel and Cedros. Customers in Icacos are however advised that their pipe borne water supply will be restored by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday 8th April, 2020. In the interim, the Authority has been delivering truck borne water supply to customers in various areas of Icacos such as Lalla Trace, Bilwah Trace and Boodram Trace. The Authority will be continuing with truck borne deliveries to impacted customers pending the restoration of a pipe borne water supply as stated above.
