SERVICE INTERRUPTION
TO PARTS OF SOUTHWEST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the South Oropouche Booster Station, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their water supply that this is due to a ruptured 36 inch pipeline in the vicinity of the Station.

Emergency repair works are expected to be completed by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday 11th April, 2020.

Areas affected include:

From Riverside Road, Curepe, to El Dorado Road, Tunapuna, inclusive of the following:

  • South Oropouche
  • Otaheite
  • Dow Village
  • Aripero
  • Rousillac
  • Chinese Village
  • Sobo
  • Quarry Village
  • Penal
  • St. Mary’s Village
  • San Francique
  • Syne Village
  • Fyzabad
  • Avocat
  • Siparia Old Road
  • De Gannes Village
  • Santa Flora

Customers are further advised that following the completion of repairs, it may take up to 48 hours for the pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas, in keeping with established water supply schedules.
