SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO PARTS OF DIEGO MARTIN

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Diego Martin, served by the Sierra Leone Booster Pumping Station that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply, on Wednesday 30th September 2020, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

This has become necessary to facilitate upgrade work at the Booster Station.

Areas to be affected include:

  • St Lucien Road from KFC to Gopaul Street inclusive of all side streets
  • Morne Coco Road from Sierra Leone Road to Cassia Drive inclusive of all side streets

Customers are advised that following the resumption of operations of the plant, it may take up to 12 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas.

For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426. A limited truck-borne water service will be available with priority given to special homes, health care and educational institutions.

The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
