The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North East Trinidad served by the Hollis Water Treatment Plant that there will be a disruption in their water supply on Thursday 10th December, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This is has become necessary in order to carry out repairs to a leak on the 24 inch transmission pipeline at the facility.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Town of Arima
  • Malabar Phase 2
  • Samaroo Village
  • Red Hill
  • Cleaver Road
  • La Resource
  • Arouca
  • Bon Air West
  • Eastern Main Road from Olton Road to Dickson Street
  • Valencia
  • O’Meara Road
  • Bregon Park
  • Arima Old Road
  • Lillian Heights
  • La Floressant
  • Bon Air Gardens
  • Lopinot Road

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after the facility returns to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available to affected customers, with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
