SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO SAN JUAN / LAVENTILLE AREA

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in the San Juan / Laventille area served by the Valsayn B Booster Station, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to electrical and mechanical problems currently being experienced at the facility.

Emergency repairs works currently underway are expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Monday 4th January, 2021.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Febeau Village
  • Laventille Road
  • Malick
  • Pashley Street
  • Sunshine Avenue
  • Bagatelle Road
  • Trou Macaque Road
  • Success Village

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.

A limited truck borne service will be available to affected customers upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
