SERVICE INTERRUPTION

AREAS SERVED BY
ARNOS VALE WELLS 1 & 2
AND COURLAND WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Arnos Vale Wells 1 & 2 and the Courland Water Treatment Plant that, there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday May 6, 2021 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

This is due to a planned power outage by the Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will impact operations at these facilities.

Areas to be affected include:

  • Plymouth
  • Pleasant Prospect
  • Buccoo
  • Grafton
  • Bon Accord
  • Black Rock
  • Mt. Irvine
  • Shirvan Road
  • Canaan
  • Crown Point

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after the facilities return to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre at 639-6850/53 or toll free at 800- 4420/26.
