SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS IN PARTS OF
BELMONT AND ENVIRONS

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Belmont and environs served by the Pump Trace Booster Station, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their water supply that, this is due to mechanical problems affecting the facility.

Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 19, 2021.

Areas affected include:

  • China Town
  • Desperlie Crescent
  • St. Barbs
  • Sogren Trace
  • Upper St. Francois Valley Road
  • Layan Hill
  • Beecham Cocoa
  • Ovid Alley

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the works.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
