CUSTOMERS SERVED BY
ARIPO WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Arima served by the Aripo Water Treatment Plant who are presently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply that, this is due to an electrical problem at the Plant following a power failure on Saturday May 22, 2021.

Emergency repair works currently ongoing are expected to be completed by 6:00 p.m. on Monday May 24, 2021.

Areas affected include:

  • Cocorite Road (between Henry Street and Malabar Branch Road)
  • Wallerfield
  • Tractor Hill
  • Santa Rosa
  • Pinto Road
  • Train Line
  • Valencia
  • KP Lands
  • Silica Road

Customers are advised that it may take up to 36 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
