SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS IN PARTS OF
SOUTHWEST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the South Oropouche Booster Station that, there will be an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 2021 June 9 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to carry out emergency maintenance works at the facility.

Areas to be affected include:

  • South Oropouche
  • Dow Village
  • Rousillac
  • Chinese Village
  • La Brea
  • Fyzabad
  • Avocat
  • Siparia Old Road
  • San Francique
  • Otaheite
  • Mon Desir
  • Aripero
  • Sobo
  • Labidco and Union Industrial Estates
  • Vessigny
  • Pepper Village
  • SS Erin Road

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these works.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
