The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the South Oropouche Booster Station, who are currently experiencing low pressures or no water that this is due to the mechanical problems impacting one of the pumps at the facility. Customers should also note that the South Oropouche Booster Station will be shut down on Friday 2021 August 20, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. in order to complete repair works.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these works.
