SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS IN
SANTA ROSA AND ENVIRONS

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in Santa Rosa and environs served by the Aripo Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to turbidity issues, which impacted operations at the facility earlier this week.

The Plant was returned to service this morning - Friday 2021 August 20, and some customers have begun receiving a supply, however it may take up to 48 hours for the service to normalize to some areas, barring no further weather related interruptions at the facility.

Customers in the Santa Rosa area only are advised that a temporary water trucking station has been established to provide relief to the area. Customers desirous of receiving a truck borne water supply can call any of the following numbers for this purpose only: 729-5040 or 496-6686.

The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
