The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Maraval and environs served by the Maraval Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to a defective discharge valve at the facility. Emergency repair works are expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday 2021 August 24.

Areas affected include:

  • Along Morne Coco Road, from Saddle Road
  • Celestine Trace
  • Nicholas Street
  • Faustine
  • Clovis Trace ending at Jeep Stand

Customers served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant are also advised that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply on Tuesday 2021 August 24, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. This is in order to carry out emergency repairs to a ruptured 400mm diameter raw water pipeline located at the corner of Freeport Mission Road and Freeport Todds Road.

  • Siewdass Road
  • Mayo
  • Gordon Village

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these works.
