The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in Moruga and environs, who are presently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that, this is due to a broken 16 inch diameter transmission pipeline, caused by a landslip in the vicinity of LP# 81 Moruga Road, Indian Walk. The Authority is currently working in collaboration with the Ministry of Works to complete repairs by 12:00 midnight on Friday 2021 September 3.

Areas to be affected include:

  • St Mary’s Village inclusive of all side streets
  • Fort George Road
  • Lengua Road
  • Fifth Company
  • Realize Road
  • Cumuto Road
  • Rochard Douglas Road
  • Burton Trace
  • Gunness Trace
  • Loney Road
  • Lower Indian Walk
  • Mandingo Road
  • Samuel Cooper Road
  • Kunjal Road
  • Saunders Trace
  • Poui Trace

Customers are advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following completion of the repair works.
