SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TO PARTS OF CENTRAL &
SOUTH WEST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South West Trinidad that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply, on Tuesday 2021, September 21, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. This is in order to facilitate emergency repairs to two leaks on the 16 inch diameter transmission pipeline located at LP 59 Rochard Road and LP 5 New Colonial, Barrackpore.

The affected areas include:

  • Cipero Road
  • St John
  • Bronte
  • Upper Barrackpore
  • GP Road
  • Satnarine Trace
  • Rochard Road from #2 Junction to Rock Road and all side streets
  • Penal Rock Road Up to Morne Diablo and side streets
  • Friendship
  • Borde Narve
  • Petit Morne
  • New Colonial Road
  • Teemul Trace
  • parts of Papourie Road from Tin Pan Alley to New Colonial Road
  • part of Clarke Road up to Old Clarke Road
  • upper Rock Road

Customers in parts of Central Trinidad served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant are also advised that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Tuesday 2021, September 21, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. This is in order to carry out repairs to a ruptured 16 inch diameter raw water pipeline, located at the corner of Freeport Mission Road and Freeport Todds Road, Freeport.

Areas affected include:

  • Preysal
  • Christian Village
  • Chickland
  • Tortuga
  • San Pedro
  • Pepper Village
  • Calcutta #1 & #2
  • Siewdass Road
  • Mayo
  • Gordon Village
  • Gran Couva
  • Brasso

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after repairs are completed.
