SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TO AREAS SERVED BY
HILLSBOROUGH WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Hillsborough Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to a broken 12 -inch diameter transmission pipeline, in the vicinity of Belmont Road, Mason Hall.

Emergency repair works presently underway are expected to be completed by 6:00 p.m. today - Wednesday September 29, 2021.

The affected areas include:

  • Mt. Grace
  • Union
  • Mary’s Hill
  • Concordia
  • Glen Road
  • Dunveygan Road
  • Spring Garden Trace
  • Whim
  • Old Road
  • Summer Hill
  • Idle Wild
  • Logwood Park
  • Mt. Pelier
  • Philadelphia Trace

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with water supply schedules.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Health Institutions and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can contact the Authority’s Customer Call Centre toll-free at 800-4420/4426 or 639-6850/53.
