SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TO AREAS SERVED BY HILLSBOROUGH WEST WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by Hillsborough West Water Treatment Plant, who are currently experiencing low pressures or no water that this is due to mechanical problems impacting operations at the facility. Emergency repair works currently ongoing, are expected to be completed on Wednesday 13th October, 2021.

Areas affected include:

  • Hope
  • Blenheim
  • Pump Mill
  • Sangsters Hill
  • Mt. St. George
  • John Dial
  • Scarborough
  • Darryl Spring
  • Patience Hill

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some areas after the facility is returned to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/26 or 639-6850/53.
