SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE
TUCKER VALLEY PUMPING STATION

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Tucker Valley Pumping Station that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday 28 October 2021, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This is necessary in order to facilitate pipeline interconnection works associated with the ongoing rehabilitation of the Tucker Valley Pumping Station.

Areas affected include:

  • Chaguaramas
  • Abbe Poujade Street
  • School Street
  • West Vale
  • Carenage
  • Gittens Dale
  • La Horquette
  • The Park
  • Big Yard
  • Haig Street
  • Glencoe Estate
  • Gulf View

Customers are advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the water supply to normalize to some affected areas following the resumption of operations at the facility.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
