ONGOING SEWER PIPELINE WORKS AT BEETHAM

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises residents in the Beetham area that the ongoing works to replace a deteriorated segment of 47 inch diameter concrete sewer pipeline along Main Street, is expected to be completed by 2nd December, 2021.

Works on the site, which began on 15th October 2021, entails re-routing of the collapsed pipeline via the installation of approximately 626 feet of 44 inch diameter Ductile Iron (DI) pipeline, at depths ranging from 19 feet to 26 feet. It also involves the installation of three (3) manholes, two (2) building connections, restoration and remedial works and decommissioning of the existing concrete sewer pipeline.

The Authority assures residents that every effort is being made to minimize the disruption and impact caused by these necessary works. The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and understanding.
