The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Central and South Trinidad, who have been affected by the recent planned shutdown at the Point Lisas Desalination Plant that, the facility has been placed back in operation.

The Desalination Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Desalcott) owned and operated Plant, returned to full production and delivery last evening – Sunday 14th November, 2021. Customers are advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in keeping with established water supply schedules.
