SUPPLY DISRUPTION

TO PARTS OF MORUGA

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Trinity Water Treatment Plant, Moruga who are currently without a supply that this is due to a broken 8”diameter main at LP 382, Moruga Road. The pipeline was ruptured as a result of a landslip in this area, following heavy rainfall.

Emergency repairs will be carried out tomorrow, Monday 13th December 2021 and are scheduled to be completed by 8:00 p.m.

Areas affected are:

  • Edward Trace
  • Rock River
  • Bois Jean Jean
  • La Lune
  • Remy Trace
  • Lanes Mitan Road
  • Penal Rock Road
  • Basseterre
  • Gran Chemin
  • La Ruffin
  • Moreau Road
  • Bla Cha Cha Trace
  • Marac

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the supply to be restored to some affected areas following the completion of repairs.
