SERVICE BEING RESTORED TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY PARROT HALL BOOSTER STATION

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served via the Parrot Hall Booster Station that, the facility was returned to full operations at 3:45 a.m. today - on Monday 7th March, 2022. This follows the completion of repairs to a combination of mechanical and electrical issues that have impacted operations at the facility since 2nd March, 2022.

Customers in the lower areas of Parlatuvier and Castara are already receiving a supply; while lower Bloody Bay is expected to receive a service by 12:00 noon today. Customers located at higher elevations in Castara, Parlativuer and Bloody Bay will receive a supply by 10:00 p.m. tonight – Monday 7th March, 2022.

Notwithstanding the above, customers are advised that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to fully normalise to some affected areas.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/26 or 639-6850/53.
