SUPPLY DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY SOUTH OROPOUCHE BOOSTER

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South West Trinidad served by the South Oropouche Booster, who are presently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne supply that, this is due to a ruptured 16 inch diameter transmission pipeline, along the Southern Main Road, Otaheite. Emergency repair works are expected to be completed by 8:00 p.m. on Sunday 27th March, 2022.

The affected areas include:

Areas supplied by South Oropouche Booster:
  • Along the Southern Main Road from Otaheite to La Brea
  • Otaheite – SM Jaleel & Well Services
  • Dow Village
  • Mon Desir
  • Rousillac
  • Aripero
  • Grants Trace
Area supplied by Thicke Village Booster:
  • Degannes Village
  • La Brea Trace
  • La Costena
  • Dil Mohammed
  • Bernard Trace
  • Debedial Road

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take twelve (12) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
