|||||
Customers in following areas in parts of South-East Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant, who are experiencing a discoloured supply in their lines are advised not to use the water:
This occurrence is as a result of the low clearwell levels at the Navet Water Treatment Plant facility. The Authority is currently carrying out flushing exercises on its water distribution network which is expected to be completed by Tuesday 17th May 2022 at 12.00 noon and the supply to all affected customers should be restored within 48 hours. Customers are asked to leave their garden taps open until the water supply runs clear to allow the flushing of their lines. Further, those customers with internal storage are asked to lock off the supply to their storage. In the interim a truck borne supply will be made available to all affected customers. Customers can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800 4420/4426. The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
