SERVICE INTERRUPTION

AREAS SERVED BY RICHMOND WATER TREATMENT PLANT, GOODWOOD BOOSTER, AND ZION HILL TANK

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Richmond WTP, Goodwood Booster and Zion Hill Tank that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply, on Thursday 19th May 2022, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

This is due to a planned power outage by the Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will impact operations at all three facilities.

Areas to be affected include:

  • James Street, Goodwood
  • Pembroke
  • Richmond
  • Kendell
  • Roxborough
  • Betsy Hope
  • Goldsborough
  • Glamorgan
  • Belle – Garden
  • Argyle
  • Louis D’or

Customers are further advised that it may take 24 hours for pipe borne water supply schedules to normalize to some areas after the facilities return to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/26 or 639-6850/53.
