The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North-West Trinidad, who were affected by the pipeline interconnection works being carried out at the Maritime Round-a-bout, Barataria that the supply was reopened to several areas overnight including: lower Port of Spain, Beetham, Aranguez and El Socorro. The pipeline distribution system in these areas is recharging and the supply has been restored to most customers.

The Authority further advises customers in Morvant, Barataria and Laventille that their water supply will be restored by 4:00 p.m. today – Thursday 19th May, 2022. It should be noted that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.

A limited truck borne supply is available upon request, with priority given to healthcare, education and government institutions.
