UPDATE

SUPPLY DISRUPTION TO PARTS OF DIEGO MARTIN

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Diego Martin, who were recently affected by repairs to a ruptured 22 inch diameter pipeline, at the corner of Mercer Road and the Diego Martin Main Road that, a further leak has developed in the same general area.

Repair works currently ongoing, are expected to be completed by 7:00 p.m. tonight - Friday 3rd June, 2022.

Areas affected include:

Diego Martin Main Road from Crystal Stream to Wendy Fitzwillaim Boulevard including:
  • La Estancia
  • Anne Avenue
  • Gopaul Avenue
  • and environs
  • Mary Avenue
  • Eligon Avenue
  • Rich Plain Road
Sierra Leone Road from Diego Martin Main Road to Morne Coco inclusive of all side streets

The Authority further advises that it may take up to 12 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these repairs.
