SUPPLY INTERRUPTION

IN PARTS OF CENTRAL TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Central Trinidad who are presently experiencing a disruption in their water supply that this is due to a ruptured 600mm diameter transmission pipeline, at the Phoenix Park Industrial Estate, Point Lisas.

Emergency repairs currently ongoing are expected to be completed by 7:00 p.m. tonight, Saturday 18th June 2022.

Affected areas include:

  • Claxton Bay – Cedarhill Road, Southern Main Road and environs
  • Union Rd, Hermitage and environs
  • Bagitola
  • Pranz Gardens
  • Macaulay
  • St Margerets

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
