SERVICE DISRUPTION CUSTOMERS SERVED BY THE CAURA PLANT |

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of El Dorado, Tacarigua and environs, served by the Caura Water Treatment Plant, who are presently experiencing low water pressures or in some cases no supply that this is due to a mechanical problem affecting one of the pumps at the facility. Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 10:00 p.m. tonight - Thursday 23rd June, 2022. Affected areas include:
UPDATE: SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS IN VALLEY VIEW, MARACAS The Authority also advises customers in Valley View, Maracas, St. Joseph, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply due to a ruptured 12 inch diameter transmission pipeline, located at Upper Maracas Valley that, emergency repair works are expected to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Friday 24th June, 2022. Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the water supply to normalise to some affected areas, following the completion of these repairs.
