PLANNED SERVICE DISRUPTION TO PARTS OF SOUTH-WEST TRINIDAD POSTPONED

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South-West Trinidad that repair works to a leaking 24 inch diameter pipeline, at LP #55 along the North bound lane of the Point Fortin Highway (in the vicinity of the Mondesir Overpass); as well as planned electrical maintenance work at the South Oropouche Booster Station, originally scheduled for today - Wednesday 20 July, have been postponed to Friday 22nd July 2022, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
