UPDATE

SERVICE DISRUPTION TO PARTS OF SOUTHEAST TRINIDAD
REPAIRS COMPLETED AHEAD OF TIME

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South East Trinidad that emergency repairs to the 16 inch diameter transmission pipeline, located at LP# 16 St. Julien Road, Princes Town, were completed two days ahead of time at approximately 6:00 p.m. yesterday, Friday 22nd July, 2022.

This follows an interruption in the water supply, due to a landslip at the location that displaced a segment of the pipeline, leading to the St. Julien Booster Station being stopped. Customers are reminded that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of repairs.

For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.

The Authority apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
