SERVICE DISRUPTION

TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY NORTH OROPOUCHE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North East Trinidad served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Thursday 28th July 2022, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

This is due to a planned power outage by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will impact operations at the facility.

Customers are advised that it may take up to twenty (24) hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules.

A limited truck borne water supply is available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/ 4426.
