SERVICE DISRUPTION

SERVICE INTERRUPTION TO AREAS SERVED BY COURLAND WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Courland Water Treatment Plant that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply, on Thursday 13th October 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m . This is due to a planned power outage by the Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) that will impact operations at the facility.

AFFECTED AREAS EXPECTED RESTORATION OF SERVICE
Black Rock, Pleasant Prospect, Mt. Irvine, Buccoo, Shirvan Road, Grafton, Canaan, Bon Accord and Crown Point. Thursday 13th October, 2022 at 2:00pm

Customers are further advised that it may take 24 hours for pipe borne water supply schedules to normalize to some areas after the facilities return to operation.

A limited truck borne service will be available with priority to Schools, Health Institutions, Government Agencies and Homes for the Aged. For further information or assistance, customers can also contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll free at 800- 4420/26 or 639-6850/53.
