SERVICE DISRUPTION TO CUSTOMERS SERVED BY CAP-DE-VILLE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South West Trinidad and environs served by the Cap-De-Ville Water Treatment Plant who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply, that is due to a defective motor affecting operations at the facility.

Emergency repairs are currently underway and are expected to be completed by 8:00 p.m. on Friday 21st October, 2022.

AFFECTED AREAS EXPECTED RESTORATION OF SERVICE
Reduced pressures to Erin Farm, Cap-de-Ville Junction to Erin Junction inclusive of side streets along the S.S. Erin Main Road, Jackson Trace, Puerto Grande Road, La Resource Road, Buenos Ayres 8:00 p.m. on Friday 21 st October, 2022

The Authority further advises that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these repairs.
