SERVICE DISRUPTION IN PARTS OF PENAL

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Penal who are currently experiencing low water pressures or in some cases no water supply, that this is as a result of a mechanical problem at the Penal Water Treatment Plant.

Repairs are currently underway and are scheduled to be completed by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday 8th November, 2022.

Penal Quinam, Mora Dam Road, Zion Hill, Moolai Street, Anthony Branch Trace, Reyes Trace, Water Well Road, Alverado Trace, Alta Garcia Trace, Doorbassa Trace, Sunrees Road, Katwaroo Trace, Ragoonanan Trace, Patiram Trace, La Costena, Dill Mohammed Trace, Boodoo's Development, Debedial Road, Fazal Avenue, Bobby Avenue, parts of Batchyia Trace 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday 8th November, 2022

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to thirty-six (36) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:

  • Use of the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store; or
  • Use of the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.

  • Alternatively, customers requiring direct assistance or further information can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
