SERVICE DISRUPTION

SUPPLY DISRUPTION TO PARTS OF SOUTHEAST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority, (the Authority), advises that customers served by the St. Julien Booster Station, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their water supply, that this is due to a leaking 16” dimeter pipeline at LP# A 43 St. Julien Road.

Emergency repairs will be undertaken today, Wednesday 9th November, 20022 with an estimated completion time of 10:00 p.m.

AFFECTED AREAS EXPECTED RESTORATION OF SERVICE
St Mary's Village, Barrackpore (Parts of Rochard Douglas Road, Cunjal, Cumuto and side streets), Moruga Road including all side streets, Saunders Trace, Cachippe, 5th Company, Indian Walk, Upper and Lower Hindustan, 3rd Company, St Julien, 6th Company, Naparima Mayaro Road from LP 390-410, Petit Café, Matilda Road, Lengua Road, New Grant, Fairfield, Indian Walk, Monkey Town, Nagee Road, Craignish 10:00 p.m. Wednesday 9th November 2022

Customers are advised that it may take up to forty-eight (48) hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules, following the completion of these repairs.
A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:

  • Use of the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store; or
  • Use of the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.

  • Alternatively, customers requiring direct assistance or further information can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
