The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North, Central and South Trinidad, served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant who are experiencing low water pressures or in some cases no water, that this is due flooded river conditions and clogged screens currently being experienced at the raw water intake of the facility due to the weather conditions as per the ITCZ.

This has resulted in production at the facility being reduced from 10:00 a.m. today, Thursday 10th November until 4:00 p.m. on Friday 11th November 2022.

The affected areas include:

North Trinidad served by the Valsayn Booster Stations A & B:

Saddle Road, San Juan, Bagatelle, Laventille Road, Febeau Village, Success Village, Laventille, Malick, Trou Macaque

North Trinidad served by the El Socorro Booster Station:

Barataria, St. Anns, Morvant, Cascade, East Dry River, Dibe, Long Circular Port-of-Spain, St. James, St. Barbs, Cocorite, Gonzales, Belmont

Central Trinidad:

Piarco, Caroni North and South Bank Road, Cunupia, Endeavour, Chaguanas, Jerningham Road, Lange Park, Longdenville, Felicity, California, Caroni Savannah Road, Korea Village, Bank Village, Waterloo, Carapichaima, St.Mary’s, Mc Bean, Couva, Windsor Park, Esperanza, Claxton Bay, Marabella, City of San Fernando

South West Peninsula from San Fernando to Point Fortin:

La Romaine, Palmiste, Phillipine, Woodland, Debe, Penal, Siparia, Fyzabad
