SERVICE DISRUPTION

SUPPLY DISRUPTIONS IN NORTH EAST TRINIDAD

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority), continues to experience disruptions to its service delivery, to customers in north east Trinidad, as a result of prolonged, turbid river conditions. The following are the impacted facilities and communities experiencing low pressures/no water:

Aripo Santa Rosa, Wallerfield, Malabar Conditions being monitored to begin restorative works
Quare Valencia Conditions being monitored to begin restorative works

As conditions continue to improve, these facilities will be returned to service in the shortest possible time.

A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:

  • Use of the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store; or
  • Use of the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.

  • Alternatively, customers requiring direct assistance or further information can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
