SERVICE DISRUPTION

SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS IN PARTS OF MORVANT

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of Morvant, served by the Lady Young Booster Station and the Morvant Booster Station, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to a mechanical problem affecting one of the pumps at each of these facilities.

Emergency repairs currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Friday 25th November 2022.

Upper Marie Road, St. Francois Valley Road, Romain Lands, Mon Repos, Never Dirty, Chinapoo, Redhill, Pelican extension, Green Acres, Mahabir Courts, Coconut Drive, Second Caledonia, Calvary Hill, Vegas, Las Alturas, Almond Courts and Morvant Avenue. Road 8:00 a.m. on Friday 25th November 2022

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.

A limited truck borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:

  • Use of the mobile WASA Services App which can be downloaded for Android mobile customers from the Play Store or iPhone mobile customers from the Apple store; or
  • Use of the Customer Portal available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.

  • Alternatively, customers requiring direct assistance or further information can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
