CUSTOMER ACCOUNT SERVICES

OWNER OF A PROPERTY BUT NEVER RECEIVED A BILL?

Property Owner/Current Occupier

  1. Visit any Customer Service Centre
  2. Provide a Certificate of Payment (COP) from the District Revenue Office, the City Hall or the Borough Corporation
  3. Copy of Registered Deed of Property/ Certificate of Comfort/ Authorization Letter from Land Settlement Agency (LSA)
  4. Statutory Declaration prepared by a Commissioner of Affidavit
  5. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport)
  6. Provide a sketch showing location and clear directions to the property (including landmarks and description of building).

Requirements also applicable to Swimming Pool Owners: Rate $160.00 per Quarter

REQUEST FOR E-BILL

  1. Complete E-bill Request Form
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  3. Provide a valid account number
  4. Authorization letter and ID if the person requesting e-bill is not the account holder

A Registered Business:

  1. Submit Certificate of Incorporation showing all the Directors.
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport) for two (2) Officers who are authorized to conduct business on behalf of the company.
  3. To conduct business on behalf of the company, the two Officers identified in item 2 above can appoint a Third Party/Representative who must provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  4. The third-party representative must present a stamped authorization letter on the company’s letterhead, signed by at least two directors, authorizing them to act on the company’s behalf.

CUSTOMER INQUIRIES/COMPLAINTS

Services can be accessed at any of our Customer Service Centres listed at 662-2302 with the respective extensions.

  • Visit any Customer Service Centre and complete the Complaints Form or download WASA Services APP
  • Inquiries may only include billing related queries.

SERVICE RECONNECTION

  1. Pay all outstanding arrears.
  2. Pay reconnection fee: $500.00 (Not VAT-able), at any of the Authority's Customer Service Centres.

DISCONNECTION BY REQUEST

  1. Complete a Disconnection by Request Form.
  2. Submit a written request to the Manager, Customer Business Services stating reason for disconnection (only the legal owner of the property can apply for a disconnection by request).
  3. Provide a Certificate of Payment (COP) from the District Revenue Office, the City Hall or the Borough Corporation.
  4. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  5. Pay outstanding arrears on the account plus Disconnection Fee of $312.00.
    To have the supply reconnected a written request plus a payment of $188.00 is required.

N.B. Request will only be facilitated if the property is not occupied.

REQUEST FOR AGREEMENTS

Non-domestic Customers

  1. Visit any one of our Customer Service Centres
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  3. Valid Account number
  4. 30-50% down payment of outstanding arrears and balance liquidated within 2 - 6 months.

Domestic Customers

  1. Visit any one of our Customer Service Centres
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  3. Valid Account number
  4. 50% down payment of outstanding arrears and balance liquidated within 2 - 6 months.

Recipient of Public Assistance

  1. Owner/Current Occupier household income MUST be a minimum of $1,200.00 monthly
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  3. Payment of $200.00 monthly and current rates when due.
  4. Provide proof of receipt of Public Assistance.
  5. Agreement to be reviewed every 6 months.

N.B. – If the above conditions are not met, the normal domestic agreement will apply.

Old Age Pensioners

  1. WASA Account in the name of Pensioner
  2. Provide a valid form of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit or Passport).
  3. Payment of $500.00 monthly and current rates when they become due.
  4. Copy of Life Certificate to be produced annually for renewal of Agreement.

Request for a Statement of Account

Payment fee:

  • $10.00 per page VAT Exclusive (Post 1995)
  • $15.00 per page VAT Exclusive (1995 and Prior)

Request for a Copy of a Receipt

Payment fee:

  • $10.00 per receipt (VAT Exclusive)

REQUEST FOR A CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE

  1. Complete the Clearance Certificate Application Form.
  2. Provide a Certificate of Payment (COP) from the District Revenue Office, the City Hall or the Borough Corporation.
  3. Provide a sketch showing location and clear directions to property (including landmarks and description of building).
  4. Provide an Approved cadastral map if premise is land only.
  5. Provide a WASA bill (if any) for the property.
  6. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  7. Provide a Certificate of Completion for properties that form part of a Development with approved water reticulation system.
  8. Fees are as follows:
    • Domestic Accounts - $450.00 (VAT inclusive)
      Account Classifications (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6)
    • Non Domestic Accounts- $843.75 (VAT Inclusive)
      Account Classifications (B3, B4, C1, C2, C3, C4, D3, D4, E3, E4)
    • Certified Copy of Clearance Certificate - $15.00 (VAT Exclusive)

Additional Requirements: If applicant is the New Owner of a property

  1. Original Registered Deed of Property (Copy to be provided)

  3. Name Change Fee - $95.00

Additional Requirements: If applicant is a Registered Tenant

  2. Authorization letter from Owner of Property

If Applying on behalf of the owner:

  1. A letter of authorization is required
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport)
  3. Provide a Notary Public or Notification Certificate if the owner lives abroad

N.B. All documents submitted by the owner if living abroad must be notarized.

If applying on behalf of a registered company:

  1. Provide certificate of incorporation showing all directors.
  2. Provide certificate of amendment and articles of amendment (If there is any changes)
  3. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport) for two (2) Officers who are authorized to conduct business on behalf of the company (one director and corporate officer)
  4. To conduct business on behalf of the company, the two Officers identified in item 3 above can appoint a Third Party/Representative who must provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  5. The third-party representative must present a stamped authorization letter on the company’s letterhead, signed by at least two directors, authorizing them to act on the company’s behalf.

REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP TITLE

  1. Complete a Customer Information Change Form (Name)
  2. Provide a Certificate of Payment (COP) from the District Revenue Office, the City Hall or the Borough Corporation.
  3. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  4. Payment fee of $95.00 (VAT Inclusive)

If applicant’s information is not registered at the DRO (Changes post 2009), the following additional documents are required

  1. Original Registered Deed of Property (Copy to be provided)
  2. Statutory Declaration prepared by a Commissioner of Affidavit (Format available at all Customer Service Centres)

REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF MAILING ADDRESS

  1. Complete a Customer Information Change Form (Mailing Address)
  2. Provide two (2) valid forms of Picture Identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport).
  3. Provide your TTPOST Postal Card

N.B. No fee applicable. Only the owner of the property can apply for this service.
